Psychological Assessments:
An assessment might be right for you if you are seeking diagnostic clarity ("what diagnosis do I have?"), want to better understand yourself ("what are my strengths and challenges?"), looking for appropriate treatment ("why hasn't CBT been helpful for me? Why hasn't an antidepressant been helpful?"), or needing accommodations.
Psychological assessments can help to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment planning. A psychological evaluation will not assess cognition or learning style.
